Huawei is more than HSDPA or WIMAX

SAP, Vodafone, eBay, Google, Yahoo, Alibaba and Nokia are technology companies about which I love to talk on this blog. Each and on their own, highlighted by the strategic form that have been organized internally to present their technology products to market and grow your business. I think they are more successful at what they do than for what they do.

Huawei Technologies today to enter my little Ranking of the Top 8 most admired companies by the undersigned, perhaps in a couple of years it will be for operators of NASDAQ. And as shown in the map below, today Huawei is located in the center of the technological world.

This company was created in 1988 as an importer-distributor of private telephone services in China, soon created his own service, and was growing until in 1997 entered the market of mobile communications products GSM, CDMA and UMTS. In 2000, became famous because they installed telecommunication systems to Saddam Hussein, Iraq, in violation of trade sanctions from the United Nations.
Huawei is more than HSDPA or WIMAX
China does not already own mobile networks of third generation 3G but if companies that make possible this new technological revolution. One is Huawei has 57,000 thousand employees, 48% engaged in R & D projects and 10% of their income as well, thanks to which have won more than 12 000 patents. 65 percent of its sales are to China’s foreign market, as exports. Has chosen Huawei third generation technology or 3G as one of the ways to boost their exports. Mexico has invested $ 20 million to build a Center of Operations, which includes a Training Center and which is equipped with five laboratories: UMTS, CDMA, NGN, Optical and Data comm to actual practices. And Huawei also operates in several countries in Latin America: Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Ecuador and Brazil, where it has been recognized as a leader in certain technologies, such as in the case of HSDPA high-speed infrastructure . Experts recognize that Chinese telecommunications technology has begun to match the monsters such as Cisco and Motorola, hence have generated global alliances with Huawei.

The Huawei product portfolio includes fixed wireless networks in both CDMA and GSM, value-added services, mobile and fixed terminals. Huawei has grown to be what it is today: the second or third largest supplier of mobile equipment, software, terminals, base stations, etc. .. and has 200 million customers (end users) in over 80 countries for technologies such as UMTS, HSDPA, GSM, CDMA and WiMAX mobile solutions and 28 of the top 50 telecom operators and mobile or cellular telephone customers or partners of Huawei ( including British Telecoms (BT), KPN in the Netherlands, SingTel, AIS in Thailand, MTN in South Africa, Telemar in Brazil, etc. ..). In Spain, its major clients are Vodafone, Telefonica – Movistar (see USB Modem 3G HSDPA ExpressCard for Vodafone or Movistar, Vodafone 3G and 3G HSDPA HSDPA Movistar). Thomas Friedman would say that for Huawei the world is flat.
